Dr. Tucker graduated from Memorial University Medical School in 1990. She trained in Pediatrics, Oncology, Palliative Care, and Grief therapy. Through her personal losses, and exposure to grief and loss at work, she has come to realise the need at times for professional support to work through the journey of grief and loss.

She has received additional training in grief therapy and psychotherapy through CBT Canada, the Ottawa Institute of Logotherapy (Dr. E. Marshall), the Center for Loss and Life Transition (Dr. A. Wolfelt, Fort Collins, Colorado), and the Medical Psychotherapy Association of Canada.

 

She is also a Certified Hypnotherapist, having trained with Jacquin Hypnosis Academy in the UK, and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with Somatic Experiencing International.
